The CILT Teaching Online Portal (CILT TOP) contains information, useful tools, case studies and examples of practice from UCT lecturers relating to the successful creation and running of blended and online courses. The content covers a broad range of topics, from the national and institutional policies on online learning, to how to get started with incorporating more technology into teaching, to how to develop an online course from the ground up. The Portal offers a differentiated approach in which the content has been repackaged in several different ways for educators at different stages of online teaching proficiency (and with varying amounts of time to invest) to engage at the level they feel most comfortable.
